St. Andrew Kim
Catholic Church

Welcome

St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church is a community of Korean Catholics living in Houston, Texas and nearby cities. Since its founding in April 1977, it has been the center of Koreans’ religious life for nearly 50 years and is the only Korean parish in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

We pray that you will always be filled with peace in the love and grace of God.

rebuilding our home

Our parish has initiated a fundraising campaign for a new church under the theme “Rising Together: Rebuilding Our Home” and compiling a 50-year history of our parish. We look forward to building a new foundation to grow the Catholic faith and a valuable community that shares its history and faith journey of the past half-century with future generations.

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” (John 11:25-26)

Funeral Information

In the Catholic Church, a funeral is not the end of life, but a journey toward eternal life with God. Having participated in the Paschal Mystery of Christ’s death and resurrection, the faithful enter into the life of resurrection with Christ through death. Therefore, the Church offers the Mass, Christ’s Paschal Sacrifice, for the deceased, imploring God’s mercy through prayer and intercession, and offering spiritual comfort and hope to the bereaved family.

If you are planning a funeral, please contact the parish office or priest as soon as possible.
